Director of In-House Sales

The Director of Sales provides on-going support to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Responsible for planning, preparing, and coordinating sales activities designed to meet revenue objectives.
Implements and reinforces the Company s basic sales training program to be consistent with Company objectives.
Responsible for ensuring that sales activities and labor rules are conducted in compliance with State, Corporate, and National Sales guidelines and Sets clear, well-defined, and reasonable goals for each associate and oversees staff in the development of sales strategies to meet established goals Hire, recruit, train, and develop staff.
Conduct performance appraisals, counseling, and coaching sessions.
Handle disciplinary action and or terminations.
Assists sales representatives in closing sales, as well as in the preparation and explanation of necessary documentation for completing sales transactions Responsible for site meeting or exceeding budgeted expectations by maximizing sales opportunities while controlling commissions and administrative costs.
Develops and manages sales operating budget Direct sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly Attain sales objectives and bottom line profit Requirements:
Minimum Formal Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred Minimum
Experience:
3 Years Timeshare Management Experience, with 5-7 Years of Timeshare Sales Experience.
Essential Training, Knowledge, Licenses and /or Certifications:
Knowledge of the timeshare industry.
Customer service and quality fundamentals, MS Office.
Must have proven track record of producing timeshare guest tours, meeting volume goals within budgeted time and cost parameters.
Essential Professional Skills/Competencies:
Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong ability to think strategically and analyze information timely and accurately, strong interpersonal communications skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
