The Wilderness Club at Big Cedar, located in Ridgedale, MO, is seeking seasonal Lifeguards to perform responsible protective service of our pools.

Summary:
As a Lifeguard you will oversee safety of our aquatic areas, guests, and have thorough knowledge of the resort rules, policies, and procedures.
You will take preventative measures through enforcement of rules and policies to ensure the safety of all guests and if necessary, use your knowledge of first aid to save lives.
You will be keeping the pool and pool decks clean, ensuring our resort guests follow safety rules, and participate in contributing to our guest s enjoyment of summer at the pool.
Supervise and use proper surveillance techniques to guard observe swimmers, provide warnings to maintain order in swim areas and ensure guest safety.
Respond to emergencies, rescue swimmers in danger of drowning, and perform first aid procedures.
Complete check list ensure that all pool areas are safe, and that lounges, chairs, and tables are organized, clean and safe.
YOUR EXPERIENCE You have experience as a Lifeguard or Pool Attendant preferred.
Your proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.
Your customer-oriented, welcoming, excellent communicator, swift and safety-minded.
Completion of Lifeguard Training, First Aid, and CPR certified.
Ability to work with little supervision, maintain a high-level of performance and follow standard operating procedures (SOP s), step-by-step instructions in accordance with Bluegreen regulations.
