Summary:
As a Houseperson, you make the guest's experience by filling it with surprise and delight.
You are a stickler for cleanliness.
You will maintain public areas' appearance by cleaning, sweeping, and waxing floors, dusting, wiping down shelves, and counters, removal of non-floor closet items, and storing in appropriate areas.
You support Housekeepers and Room Attendants by removing all dirty linen from rooms, units, carts, and closets.
Ensure public areas look presentable to our owners and guests.
You monitor cleanliness of restrooms, elevators, stairs, courtyards, and grounds.
Clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom, and carpet shampoo machine.
Housekeeping discipline cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and sterilization.
Assist Housekeepers with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
You promptly respond to requests, delivering housekeeping supplies, linens, cots, and other items to enhance the guest experience.
Refill the par stock of guest amenities, linens, and other supplies on each floor pantry for Housekeeping and deliver linens and other necessary items to units.
You report items of repair and unsafe conditions to Housekeeping and Maintenance.
Assist Housekeeping in lifting heavy items (up-to 50LBS) when deep cleaning rooms and stripping units, and transport linens to laundry.
YOUR EXPERIENCE You have experience in Housekeeping, Custodial, Janitorial or Environmental Services as a Housekeeper, Houseman, Room Attendant, Cleaner, Custodian, Janitor, or EVS Tech.
Customer-oriented, hospitable, and welcoming to guests and other associates.
You prioritize managing your time, working quickly without compromising quality.
You work with little supervision, maintain a high level of performance, and follow standard operating procedures (SOP's), step-by-step instructions following Bluegreen regulations.
